Hiaz... After reading Ah ma's blog entry.
I came into terms wif my insecurity of teaching my section for SYF.
Hey! SYF is a big thing! Not just any SYF u noe, an event tat will determine MCB's fate for the nxt few yrs after my batch step down...
I feel as though i'm not gd enough to be a sl, n HELL i don even wan to be! ( Nobody ask me whether i wan to be an asl or not when i was in sec 1 zzz... -,-)
So yeah, i still don believe im a gd sl...
N probbaly the worst.
Ppl put their faith in me but i can't...
I don't noe y...
But....
I don think i'm capable enough...
I heard my tuning tis morning
N of cos it sucks...
I lost complete faith in myself but not how jin & yilian
I wonder will the yamaha xeno trombone will help me or not...
N yet i expect my section to play well...
When i, even their sl can't even do it...

First i shall write bout yesterday :)
Went to coffeeshop to meet Sheryl & Yan Jia ( i came late though)
Later joined by Jing Hui & Shimin, we chatted ( i drank ice lemon tee though xp) until mr tan came & fetch us to huayi.
Reached there we saw joyce & leehui ( they came way~ earlier than us)
Saw huayi's band uni, OMG it looked way nicer than us! Ours look like chinese waiter & waitress uniform in a chi resturant -,-
Anyways, we tried to help huayi... But they don nid our help to move percussion instruments & music stands :(
Ah Ma & Yilian were damn late but in time for the performance thx to the late arrival of the other percussion instruments...
& YAY I DIDNT WEAR THE HAT/RAINDEER HORNS! XD
The performance was okok ba i played a lot~ of wrong notes... :( Sleigh ride was the worst... -,-
Zzz... Sad :(
Later went bac to huati & exchange presents :)
Went home bout 11+ & slept zzz....

1. Fantastic! OMG!
2. Way better than order of the phoenix & half blood prince!!! They got to be the most boring movie ever! Only order of phoenix the special effects are nice... Zzz...
3. A lot of thrilling parts... Especially wif the Nagini attacking harry & hermionie scene( if u don noe whose Nagini, its voldermot's snake)

Though i prefer Singapore Flyer... Even though its harder, it has a damn interesting melody behind it...

Our new SYF competition set piece just came out, n its called SINGAPORE FLYER?!

Lols, i knew it a few days ago, but seriously~

SINGAPORE FLYER... LOLS! N not to mention the composer is Satoshi Yagisawa, a Japanese...

Maybe the song has slow tempo... Cos Singapore Flyer moves round slowly,

Maybe it has a exiciting melody as its exiciting to see Singapore skyline view.

Hahas im just hoping here Trombone don get a melody part here...

I had enough of 2009 SYF competition scores, overture no.1 n danse diabolique melodies for the trombone section!!

N those scores Trombone had damn a lot of melody parts... Especially danse diabolique... 5 Trombone melody parts... WTH?!

One is enough to kill the whole entire section! E.g. the whole mayflower trombone section last yr almost went crazy... Wif the first melody part, all running notes n not to mention the song is fast!

My hand during the SYF almost lost grip on my trombone slide, n bee also said tat she was stunned tat we could move our hands quite fast...

Lols, pls don giv me tat kind of melody again... PLS!

Today Zheng lao shi, brought up the subject of SYF, n how we performing arts cca r goin to hav a hell of our time to catch up wif our studies.

Wth... When she said tat, it reminded me tat all of us r goin to Sec 4 nxt yr...

N I still cant believe tat, i cant believe tat im goin to be 16, takin my o lvls n perform for SYF...

( n my birthday is goin to be on the wk of the SYF! WTH! )

But tat isnt the main pt...

It kinda remind me of Jasmine crying on the SYF day...

Came bac to sch, procceded to put bac my trombone in the store room.

Went outside, feeling very guilty on wat happened on the stage (i accidentally hit my trombone slide onto one of the euphonium players chair... during danse diabolique melody part: bar 405)

Once i stepped outside, I saw a group of sec 4s seniors crying, n a horrified Miss Mok was trying to calm them down...

One of them was Jasmine, I went to her side.

She just walked off to the DNT block direction, I followed her until she stopped. She was sobbing. (finally not crying)

Both of us talked... (i cant remember the details...)

N when i said tis particular line, she gave me surprised n stunned look n cried all over again... I was stunned until i blankly stared at her back when she walked off...

"Even when u step down, u will come bac to band to see the section again rite?"

I didnt noe wat was the feeling i felt bac then but it was very emotional...

N Maybe i will experience tat when im bout to step down nxt yr....

Well ya i admit tat my feelings towards him is not as deep as theirs.

Hmm... 3 things happened today, which totally changed my mood.
First, Mr Gad officially said he IS attached! (even though the whole class knew especially me)

Secondly, TIS IS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST NEWS I HAV HEARD since i got A1 for E maths
I got an (almost soon to become) A1 for BIO!
Yay! Yay!
(though no offense to Ah Ma)
P.S. my score is actually 74 xp...

N lastly, My junior, Dawn has FINALLY played a BASS TROMBONE!!!!
Hahas n she sounded ok in it! XD
Oh gosh im so happy!
Hahas... Im one step closer to gettin a bass trombone player 4 SYF! XD

But i seriously~feel like givin up my sl position...
as i really think tat im not fit to be a sl, i cant teach my juniors n even myself properly...
Im also a slacker, a quality tat a SL SHOULD NOT HAV...
N wat should i do wif myself if i fail to teach my juniors for SYF...
I really don wan to disppoint Jasmine, Kwang Yong, Fu Hui, Liyin(i think tats the spelling of her name), Kenie N last but not least Mr Tan n the whole band...
