Yesterday Christchurch performance was painful...
My back ached for the whole day, including the rehearsal... Jus cos my chair cannot push bac & i ended up slouching...

Idk y but somehow it has to do wif tat morning sectionals & yeah rehearsals...
But i don regret goin xp
Its kinda interesting... But i kana got shocked by too many things liao...
First- Joy scared me by suddenly opening the door, n become damn hyper (im not kidding)... Basically she scared the hell of me... Too enthu baa~
Second- Walk to the dressing room wher the Christchurch band was... Open the door...
The whole band see us (actually its me & sheryl cos we went there first), they screamed 0.0
Both me & sheryl stunned, damn ps to go in...
Third- Okok... I went in first cos sheryl too scard or smth... finally enter the dressing room go to the the part of dressing room indicated for us (ppl still shouting around us -.-) n i saw khia meng...
WTH?!
I stunned, (actually more specific stared at him...)
Damn i thought he not coming... So i happily ( figure of statement) walk in until yeah...
He even had the cheek to say wat.... WTH ah... -.-
Fourth- Its christchurch's playing abilities... OMG... (No offense but...)

Gosh, i really hate nxt yr's SYF!
Freaking!!!!!!!!!!
Though i prefer Singapore Flyer... Even though its harder, it has a damn interesting melody behind it...
N not so much of chords though...
Memories of Friendship is nice but i find it a bore cos of the too many chords.
Well at least tis time trombone don't hav a lot of melody parts ^^

1st trombone has totally different part then 2nd & 3rd... ( 2nd one also damn different from 3rd)

Went to huayi, in hope for sectionals...
But Mr tan wans trombone to play... Lols... Cos the huayi one went for tutoring...

But basically its the same as the Huayi trombone ppl ones. Well who cares... No wonder they can blast easily n also play loud too...

Tat isnt the main pt... Its...I finally blasted~ N can play even louder~ XD

Oh yeah, i finally noe the reason y trombone section cannot play the danse diabolique chords well...

Its cos of the freaking besson(forgot how its spelled like) trombones...

No wonder mr tan wants to change all the trombones in mayflower to yamaha ones...

Our new SYF competition set piece just came out, n its called SINGAPORE FLYER?!

Lols, i knew it a few days ago, but seriously~

SINGAPORE FLYER... LOLS! N not to mention the composer is Satoshi Yagisawa, a Japanese...

Maybe the song has slow tempo... Cos Singapore Flyer moves round slowly,

Maybe it has a exiciting melody as its exiciting to see Singapore skyline view.

Hahas im just hoping here Trombone don get a melody part here...

I had enough of 2009 SYF competition scores, overture no.1 n danse diabolique melodies for the trombone section!!

N those scores Trombone had damn a lot of melody parts... Especially danse diabolique... 5 Trombone melody parts... WTH?!

One is enough to kill the whole entire section! E.g. the whole mayflower trombone section last yr almost went crazy... Wif the first melody part, all running notes n not to mention the song is fast!

My hand during the SYF almost lost grip on my trombone slide, n bee also said tat she was stunned tat we could move our hands quite fast...

Lols, pls don giv me tat kind of melody again... PLS!

Today Zheng lao shi, brought up the subject of SYF, n how we performing arts cca r goin to hav a hell of our time to catch up wif our studies.

Wth... When she said tat, it reminded me tat all of us r goin to Sec 4 nxt yr...

N I still cant believe tat, i cant believe tat im goin to be 16, takin my o lvls n perform for SYF...

( n my birthday is goin to be on the wk of the SYF! WTH! )

But tat isnt the main pt...

It kinda remind me of Jasmine crying on the SYF day...

6 of April 2009:

Came bac to sch, procceded to put bac my trombone in the store room.

Went outside, feeling very guilty on wat happened on the stage (i accidentally hit my trombone slide onto one of the euphonium players chair... during danse diabolique melody part: bar 405)

Once i stepped outside, I saw a group of sec 4s seniors crying, n a horrified Miss Mok was trying to calm them down...

One of them was Jasmine, I went to her side.

She just walked off to the DNT block direction, I followed her until she stopped. She was sobbing. (finally not crying)

Both of us talked... (i cant remember the details...)

N when i said tis particular line, she gave me surprised n stunned look n cried all over again... I was stunned until i blankly stared at her back when she walked off...

"Even when u step down, u will come bac to band to see the section again rite?"
